INVITATION FOR REGISTRATION OF MANUFACTURERS/

CONTRACTORS / SUPPLIERS FOR E-PROCUREMENT

DTL is introducing E-Procurement System and intends to start inviting tenders through e-procurement portal only. The system shall make it convenient to participate in the bid and the tenders shall be more efficient, faster and transparent.

DTL is procuring equipments and services for projects and maintenance of 400/220KV Sub-Stations, Transmission Lines and other related equipments. All parties desirous to participate in tenders would require having Registration Certificate under Delhi Tax Act, 2005, VAT, Service Tax, Works Tax, EPF Registration. Desirous parties may avail this opportunity and register at Delhi Government portal https://delhi.govtprocurement.com  for participation in E-procurement system.

Contractors/Suppliers already registered at the Portal need not register again, provided the Contractor's user ID and Digital Signatures are the same and the registration is valid. Contractors will have to obtain Digital Signature Certification from certified agencies authorized by Govt. of India under Information Technology Act, 2000.

It is for the information of all concerned that existing Manual System of Tendering would not be available after introduction of E-Tendering System w.e.f. 1^st August, 2008.
